Press release

Say SMM - say Pavilion of Denmark!

SMM, the world's largest maritime exhibition and conference event, was supposed to happen in September 2020 drawing the usual crowd of 60.000+ visitors to Hamburg. But with the corona virus still restricting global travelling and large crowds, the organisers had to rethink the entire concept. So, this year - SMM2021 will be purely digital with an interesting and exciting line-up of conference streams, speakers, and virtual events.

Say SMM - say Pavilion of Denmark!
When the digital version of SMM 2021 kicks off 2 February, almost forty Danish maritime suppliers led and supported by
Danish Export Association enter new waters in exhibition formats and keep the industry moving forward despite travel and meeting restrictions.
Together with a series of suppliers, DEA has 'built' and launched a fully virtual Pavilion of Denmark, where visitors can engage in live interaction with company representatives. No travelling, no testing, no quarantine - all you have to do is log on to the Danish Pavilion from the comfort of your desk, and you will get direct access to key representatives from each company who will be ready to chat, engage, and discuss the current and future challenges in the maritime industry.

Sign up below, and come visit us in Exhibition Hall 4, where we will be ready to answer your questions about the challenges in ship design in the current market, how we can use virtual reality as a global cooperation tool in the design process, and much more.

Anders ØrgårdJacob H. ThygesenHenrique Barroso PestanaKristian Carøe LindKristian Holten Moeller and OSK Design's new Design Director Bente Medelbye Hansen will be live as avatars from 2-5 February - ready to talk to you
