Motion Analysis

OSK-Offshore provides Motion Analysis services in order to determine the most probable motions and accelerations on the vessel for a specific set of environmental conditions, i.e. wave heights, wave periods, water depths etc.
Our analyses can be used to determine the most optimal window of operation as well as be issued for approval at an marine warranty surveyor (MWS).

In addition to standard motions and acceleratons, OSK-Offshore can also provide geometrical checks of equipment that might protrude over the ship side, hence visually checking and assessing the risk of equipment immersion prior to operation. Based on wing immersion analyses, the naval architects of OSK-Offshore can perform optimal designs of support structures ruling out the risk of wing immersion during transport.
